2017-2018 Negotiations

5/1/2018 - The School Board unanimously accepted the REA 2017-2019 tentative agreement tonight! 

4/25/2018 - The votes are in! 
Yes - 67%
No - 33%

4/16/2018 - We have a tentative agreement!
          *Details will be posted by Friday, April 20th. 
Schedule:  May change, if needed, due to weather. 
1.  Emergency FR Meeting on Wednesday, April 18th at 4:30 at Mayo HS.
2.  All Member meeting at Kellogg at 4PM on Wednesday, April 25th. 
3.  Absentee Voting Monday - Wednesday (until 3PM) at the REA office. 
4.  All member voting on Wednesday, April 25th at Kellogg 3:05-7:00PM.  Remember that not voting counts the same as voting no.

  1.  The teams met for just over 6 hours today. 
  2.  There was continued language change and salary discussions. 
  3. No final tentative agreement was reached today. 
  4. The next meeting is set for Monday, April 16th at 4p.m.

     1. District Response to REA's previous proposals, including teacher safety, alternative scheduling, and bereavement leave.
     2. The District offered a counter-proposal to the financial proposal made by REA. 
    3. Next meeting on Friday, 3/23, from 12:30-4:30 at Edison, room 26.
